1. What we do

Safar Karois a technology platform that connects people who want a ride ("Riders") with independent drivers who offer rides on bikes, autos and cars ("Drivers"). We do not ourselves provide transport services and Drivers are not our employees or agents. Each ride is a service provided by the Driver directly to the Rider.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
• You sign in with a mobile number verified by a one-time password (OTP). Keep your phone and OTPs secure — you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Information you give us (name, email, vehicle and document details) must be accurate and kept up to date.
• One mobile number can hold one account, either as a Rider or as a Driver.

3. Booking rides (Riders)

• The fare shown before booking is an estimate based on distance, time, vehicle type and the fare rules for your city. The final fare may differ if the route, waiting time or destination changes, and may include applicable taxes, tolls or parking charges.
• Share the trip OTP with your Driver only when you are in the vehicle. The ride begins once the Driver enters the OTP.
• Treat Drivers and their vehicles with respect. Do not carry illegal, hazardous or prohibited items, and do not ask a Driver to break traffic laws.
• Promo codes are subject to their own conditions, may expire, have no cash value and may be withdrawn if misused.

4. Payments and wallet

• You can pay by cash, UPI or your Safar Karo wallet. Online payments and wallet top-ups are processed by our payment partner Razorpay; we never see or store your full card or bank details.
• Wallet balance can be used only for rides on the Platform, is not interest-bearing and is not transferable.
• If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us within 7 days of the ride. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method or your wallet.

5. Cancellations

Riders and Drivers may cancel a booking before the trip starts. Frequent cancellations, or cancellations after a Driver has arrived, may attract a cancellation fee as shown in the app and may lead to restrictions on the account.

6. Driving on the Platform (Drivers)

• You must hold a valid driving licence for your vehicle class, a valid registration certificate (RC), valid insurance and any permits required by local law, and upload them for verification. Your account can go online only after approval.
• You are an independent service provider. You decide when to go online and which ride offers to accept, and you are responsible for your vehicle, fuel, maintenance, taxes and legal compliance.
• While online, the app uses your precise location to send you nearby ride offers and to show Riders your position.
• Safar Karo charges a commission on each completed ride. Your net earning (fare minus commission) is credited to your in-app wallet, and you may request a payout of your available balance.
• Do not ask Riders for payment outside the app beyond the fare shown, and do not contact Riders for any purpose unrelated to the ride.

7. Safety and conduct

Harassment, discrimination, violence, driving under the influence, fraud, or misuse of the SOS feature are strictly prohibited. The in-trip SOS button alerts our team with your live location; in an emergency always contact local authorities first by calling 112. We may suspend or block any account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe puts others at risk.

8. Ratings, feedback and complaints

Riders and Drivers can rate each other after every trip. Ratings must be honest and fair. You can raise a complaint about a ride from the app or by writing to support@webphiser.com.

9. Acceptable use of the apps

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the Platform, interfere with its operation, create fake accounts or bookings, or use automated means to access it. All trademarks, logos and content on the Platform belong to Webphiser or its licensors.

10. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Maps, routes and arrival times are estimates and may be inaccurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Safar Karo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts or omissions of Riders or Drivers. Our total liability for any claim relating to a ride is limited to the fare paid for that ride.

11. Suspension and account deletion

You can stop using the Platform at any time and delete your account from the app or on our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Amounts owed to either party at the time of termination remain payable.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
